German A-level Conference: Handling the cultural topic
43 students from from 6 schools between Watford and Birmingham came to Tile Hill Wood School on Friday 24 May for a series of workshops on handling the cultural topic for their A2 examinations. Topics covered were 'Film analysis', Der Besuch der Alten Dame, Der Vorleser and German history after WWII with particular focus on Reunification. There were also two practical sessions dealing with the cultural topic in the speaking exam and the essay.

Storybird workshop with Year 5 (Park Hill) & Year 7
36 pupils from Park Hill Primary School visited our Year 7s today to create storybirds on "La selva tropical". Year 5s designed the first few pages and then worked with Year 7s to include more detailed descriptions using adjectives. A big thank you to everyone involved!
